The network is the main recipient of the new GF project

On May 18, 2017 a meeting of the National Council on Counteraction Tuberculosis and HIV/AIDS was held under the chairmanship of Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine Pavel Rosenko.

At this meeting, the National Council approved a new application of Ukraine to the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria.

The National Council also highly appreciated the achievements of the Network and confirmed its ability to continue implementation of the Global Fund project in Ukraine. It is almost the most important project aimed at counteraction the HIV and tuberculosis epidemic in the country.

“We are very grateful to all our partners and colleagues for their trust,” said Dmitry Sherembey, Chairman of the Network Coordination Council. “This decision of the National Council is one more confirmation of achievements of our organization, which is doing best to stop the epidemic in the country.”

We would like to remind you that work on a draft of the new application of Ukraine to the GF started in the spring of 2017.
