100% Life Will Transfer $1 M Worth of Medicines to Ukrainian Hospitals Supported by Peace Winds Japan

In September, 21 hospitals in the eight most war-affected Ukrainian regions will receive antibacterial, antipyretic, hemostatic, antiemetic, analgesic and other types of drugs of a total cost of $1 million.

This assistance will be provided as part of the “Medical Support for Ukrainian Regions with Humanitarian Crisis” project implemented by 100% Life with the support of Peace Winds Japan.

Since the outbreak of the Russia’s war on Ukraine, NGO “100% Life” has significantly expanded its activities to attract additional resources and projects to help Ukrainians affected by the hostilities.

Peace Winds Japan (PWJ), a Japanese non-governmental organization, was one of the first new partners to promptly offer assistance. PWJ is involved in emergency humanitarian assistance, reconstruction and development around the world. In Moldova and Poland, the organization provides assistance to Ukrainians who had to leave Ukraine due to the Russian aggression.

Since May 25, Japan Platform – Emergency humanitarian aid organization and BO 100% Life, supported by Peace Winds JAPAN, have been implementing a second project, “Medical Support for Ukrainian Regions with Humanitarian Crisis”. The project operates in Kyiv city and oblast, as well as in Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Luhansk, Donetsk and Zaporizhzhya oblasts.

“We are grateful to our Japanese partners for their timely and large-scale assistance. We feel supported and share the common values of saving human lives. Our organization is inspired by the experience of cooperation and plans to continue working in this direction to help hospitals during this extremely difficult period by supplying medicines and overcoming challenges of the humanitarian crisis,” said Khrystyna Brodych, 100% Life Director of innovation, during a meeting with PWJ colleagues.

In August 2022, the Japanese delegation of PWJ holds a visit to Ukraine and visits the regions most affected by the Russian aggression. In addition to drug support, PWJ plans to expand assistance and engage in the reconstruction of damaged educational and health facilities, as well as implement other humanitarian support projects for Ukrainians.

Earlier, in early spring 2022, 100% Life signed a memorandum with Peace Winds Japan to launch a project of supplying drugs to Ukrainian hospitals.

Peace Winds Japan is a non-governmental organization dedicated to supporting people in trouble in the war zones. The organization operates in 33 regions worldwide that have faced hostilities, armed conflicts, etc.
